Work story · Provar
Building AI-first enterprise platforms at Provar
Provar had an established desktop testing platform built on an Eclipse plugin. My work involved building a team and helping design two new AI-first platforms from the ground up.

The starting point
We worked with large enterprise companies, bringing their requirements into decisions about the products and how we developed them.
The new platforms had to stand alongside an established product and serve customers with real expectations around security, tenancy, and reliability, while being built in a fundamentally new way.
Two platforms
Two sides of the same problem
Functional testing for agentic development
Agents are changing how quickly software can be created and modified. Teams still need to know whether the resulting application does what the business intended.
The functional testing platform addresses that problem by connecting requirements with the tests that verify them, so teams keep confidence as products, requirements, and implementation evolve.
- Requirements as first-class objects
- Links from every test to the requirements it proves
- Coverage computed from those links, not line counts
Agent evaluation with Provar TrustAI
An agent’s behavior depends on its instructions, tools, context, and the situations it encounters.
The agent evaluation product helps teams test, validate, and monitor that behavior against defined expectations before and after release.
- Simulated, realistic customer journeys
- Grading for outcomes, compliance, safety, and tone
- Evidence that an agent is ready to ship
Together, they answer two related questions: does the application meet its requirements, and does the agent behave as intended?
My contribution
I built the team and helped shape the products and early development plans.
That work drew on my founder experience: working across customer needs, product direction, technical decisions, and the organization required to execute.
The team developed and refined the software factory used to build the platforms, including much of the skills, harness behavior, and development process.
What the work led to
Developing these products gave us direct experience operating an agent-driven software factory.
Telemetry helped the team understand the system and improve it. That experience led me to conceive and build an insights platform to make similar visibility accessible to other teams.
